Small Gourd Shaped Trumpet Vase
« on: June 18, 2014, 05:19:52 PM »
Wondering about this little vase. Not even sure whether to call it a trumpet vase or not. Hand blown and shows significant wear on the base along with a semi ground pontil mark. Quite a few ripples/striations in the glass and some bubbles or inclusions. Thinking possibly Victorian or slightly later? As for origin I have no idea. Look forward to reading your thoughts.

Measurements are 17cm in height and 8cm across the top. It is quite light weight and delicate.
