Strathearn Tropic or Portuguese A N Other? ID = Portuguese

Could this be one of the Portuguese weights mentioned here on the message board or a Strathearn Tropic?

It is 11cm tall, cut and polished tip, moulded base.

The Strathearn Tropics are egg shaped and don't tend to have splodgy stuff at the bottom.
There's one in Lustrousstone's gallery.
I'm afraid I rather suspect not Strathearn John. :'(

Thanks Sue, pretty much decided same after I bought it a few weeks ago. I have not found any images of said fabled Portuguese weights, does anyone have any?

Labelled Portuguese weight on Etsy - same style as yours John. Use the next arrow in the page to see the base with label.

I have one weight that I think is Portuguese but it is of the more typical type akin to this one in Etsy
