Two large studio(?) pendant lamps
« on: October 24, 2021, 01:13:01 AM »
Long time no see. I've mostly moved away from glass over the last few years, but I'll still buy the occasional thing that has the ability to stump me. These are two of them.

Two pretty big glass pendant lamps with applied decoration and iridescent finish. The pinky-blue one is ringing faint bells, but I can't pin it down. Possibly studio output - but possibly not.

Bought in Germany, but could really be from anywhere (I bought stuff from Mexico, England and North Africa from the same seller).

Thanks for taking a look.

They're quite contemporary, I think. Probably no older than the 1980s.

I can't find any similar modern pieces from the company (although there's not much of anything on their more recent output, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything).

After a little more searching, I do see what you mean. There are a lot of commonalities with 'modern' Poschinger, so they're a strong possibility. Thanks.
