Hi, I'm curious about this beautiful Pink Gulvase vase. I'm not sure how to identify if it is authentic or not. Thank you.

think I'm probably as clueless as you, but ..............   looking in one of the Miller's/McConnell books, the ones I can see appear to to show the sides coming down to a squared finish at the base, not rounded as showing on this piece.      Sorry not really helpful.            As a matter of interest, what is the height of this vase?

also meant to add that I'm sure this isn't one of the usual colours for such pieces  -  I've never seen one in pink.

I just found online some info on it and it looks like it may be Danish Mid-Century Modern Holmegaard Pink Glass Vase..

Definitely NOT a Gulvvase.  The base is quite wrong.  The sides curve nicely in to that clearer pink glass.

However, Gulvvases do not have curves from sides to base - a simple right angle done in a mould.  See eaxmples in www.hardernet.dk the Danish Museum collection.

P.S.     It is not a Cascade(UK) version either.  They were made identical to the Holmegaard ones under licence.  Only diference seems to be the colours they made them in.

Certainly look like the LSA vases. LSA is a brand name rather than a manufacturer but their stuff is high quality and often made in Poland

I believe Cascade only made amber and teal versions.
Pink is certainly not one of the known Holmegaard colours.
I have had a very short lilac coloured one (pale purple casing over a white inner) with a squint neck, which I believe was Japanese, and had another small one, of all the wrong dimensions, in a deep blue. I have no idea where that was made.
It would seem gulvases were popular and much copied.  ;D
