« on: February 10, 2022, 08:54:21 PM »
A very nice Anglo Irish Georgian cut glass ewer  for show.

Very grey in colour and highly cut.
Height 10.25"
Weight a heavy 2160gm

Even the pedestal base is well cut with a 64 star cut base.

Thanks for looking Roy

particularly like the prismatic/step cutting  -  always makes a piece look very grand.

Absolutely love the way the foot is cut - it's got to be one of the most beautiful I've seen - a magnificent example of skill. It's quite mind-blowing actually that someone has managed to cut in that intricate manner.

One hell of a piece of craftsmanship i have not seen a foot that was worked on
in such a laborious way before and looks in good condition from the pictures, Certainly
a piece to drool about. Would love  own one like this one  :o Is there a lot of wear from
the piece being moved around on the floor??

Thanks
Its not normally the foot that makes a piece stand out. It seems that a lot of effort and time was given to the cutting of the base.

The wear is minimal I can count about 5 small chips to the base they may show in picture.

Thanks Roy
