Just wondering if anyone knows of other Walther pieces that have a clear glass base rather than a black base.  The piece pictured can be found in the 1936 Walther catalogue (called Mowen and Fische Schale) but is featured with a black glass base, not clear, though the pattern is exactly the same.  (Apologies for the poor photography - still haven't mastered the clear / frosted glass photo  ::))

Thanks Pamela.  I've looked over the base thoroughly and it is exactly the same as the known Walther black ones - very strange.  This is just my hunch but I suspect that it was made post WWII. ???
