Murano or not? a bit different color
« on: March 14, 2008, 11:18:23 PM »
I haven't seen this yellow much in this type of bowl, and was hoping it was distinctive enough for someone to identify the maker - or even if it is by a Murano maker.  The smoothly polished pontil is slightly depressed.    Thanks for looking.

I'd say generic Murano. I believe Holmegaard did a similar ashtray, but I think it was triangular and the yellow more lemon than orange. Perhaps someone with knowledge of Holmegaard could comment.
