I would appreciate help in to ID this large geometric pink ribbed glass vase.  It doesn't appear in any Depression Glass guides I know of and I'm sure it's not early enough to be EAPG.  It has mold lines and stands over 12 inches tall, is quite heavy and is twelve-sided on sides and base.  It is a lovely pink-rose transparent color and features ribbed lines and vertical lines in groups of three.  I would greatly appreciate any and all assistance id identification as I'm going crazy trying to ID it.

Looks Belgian or French to me - perhaps Scailmont or VSL?

Do you think perhaps Polish?  That amberish pink seems familiar...

Hello,

I think it could be Belgian, it looks very very much like the vase called "John" made by Val Saint Lambert (part of their Luxval line).  The model looks very similar to me, but most ones I have seen were a little smaller than yours.  Most models of Luxval vases were made in different sizes, but I don't know about this model.

You can see one in an ancient catalogue on http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/LUXVAL-1935.117+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMTcmcHJvZHVjdElEPTUyMTgmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTE3JmRldGFpbD0_.0.html  - a wonderful site   made by Pamela Wessendorf.

I hope this helps you a little bit.

My undying gratitude, Tutu!  You are absolutely correct in your identification.  Ironically, my name is John just like the vase.  Now if only I could ID the other random glass pieces I seem to find.  More to post in the future, I guess!
