I guess then it could be multi purpose, but I thought from the beginning it was an ashtray, even without the cigarette indents, which I believe were discontinued by Whitefriars after 1963???  (not exactly sure of the year)  when the Government of the time put an extra tax on indented ashtrays.  Elf and Safety  at it even then!!!  Emmi

Also this would do away with the extra high tax on ash trays  ,no grooves no tax and the fags (yuk) dont roll off and burn your table . :thup:
