Topic: Kingfisher? Hex Pressed Bird Bowl - ID = UGB (United Glass Bottle co)

I picked this up today knowing it was not US. I think the bird is a Kingfisher, but may be mistaken. Its 9 1/2" diameter with a height of 5" & all six panels feature alternating vies with either the bird or the bird with a fish. It has a number on the bottom which may or may not be a registration number of RD810280. I'm wondering if its from Austrailia? Thanks, Ken

Not sure of the maker  but I thought it was British , I see quite a few of them about, I am sure someone will have more information for you

Hi Ken, it's English, made by UGB (United Glass Bottle co) and was discussed on the board way back in July 2005 when I asked about one for sale.
