MAKERS MARK - LITTLE STICKMAN GLASSBLOWER
« on: September 22, 2010, 01:51:12 PM »
Hiya I have a turquoise glass bowl which has a makers's mark which looks like a little 'stickman' blowing glass complete with rod & blob of glass. The mark is on the bottom of the bowl & in relief could anyone help with identification. I have tried to upload a pic but the server says it's too big. Thanks.

Possibilities include Kumela, Alsterfors and Johansfors but I bet there are others too. Really need some photos, help here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html

If you get stuck reply to this thread and ask for help.

Silly me, I assumed it was a label not an impressed mark.

I agree with John about the three companies to consider. It's closest n to the design on the foil label used by Alsterfors, but on that, the blower has his legs together. I can see why the legs would be apart for a pressed design, though, so I'd suggest doing a search for Alsterfors.
