Art noveau miniatures - help on ID?
« on: October 26, 2010, 10:43:45 AM »
Hi all, I recently came across these three art noveau miniatures (approx. 10 cm high) in etched overlay and could not resist buying them. They are marked with "B.F.", and although they are very similar in style to products made at Kosta and Reijmyre in Sweden at the time, I have not been able to attribute them to any Swedish glass works or designers. Could someone here perhaps shed som light on this?

No idea regarding B.F., I'm afraid
but have you tried ARSALL of Lausitzer Glas, Weißwasser ?  :ooh:

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.

Thank you for the tip, Pamela! When searching though, I find a lot of items that are very similar in style but not in technique. Does anyone else have any ideas?
