These are spooners hence the silver rim. The surface is what we know here as "Frisian" but which allegedly is referred to in England as "Bristol". Possibly these were produced in England and exported out of Bristol - but information is sadly lacking. Never seen any reference to this type of glass written down, where it originates, who made it - nothing. I'm sure there are a lot of collectors over here who would be thrilled with any snippet of information you might bring up.
These are not threaded but cut into the surface - not sure what the process is called technically. In my understanding mechanical threading is winding a glass thread onto the surface, not cutting into its surface. Another point which needs clearing up.
