Mis Shaped glass bottle
« on: September 22, 2013, 09:15:07 PM »
Hi All,

I normally collect Scandinavian glass, but couldn't resist this galss bottle at an antique fair recently. Nobody really knows what it is, so, any thoughts?
It stands about 11inch tall and is uneven as shown. The bottle has a number of "dimples" as can be seen at the bottom. Pontilmark is unfinished and the base concave. There are a couple of  impurities in the glass and I suspect it may be an apprentice piece or similar. But, by who? It's certainly not straight! Kind regards, Mark
