I picked this up with the blue mystery pieces I posted about in Glass, but I do know who made this as it's signed clearly on the side: Andrew Sanders. There's no date, and this finish is not shown in their current range on the website for Wallace and Sanders. They trade from
www.kingstreetworkshops.co.uk at Pateley Bridge, in Yorkshire.
To describe the bowl... inside it's white mottled over black glass, like clouds, and very smooth and shiny. The foot is the same effect white on clear, but the sides of the foot have a sort of matte iridescence. The black outside of the bowl also has a matte iridescence, almost a bronze tinge to it and with a fine crackle effect, achieved I suppose by a thin spray of something on the outside of the bowl and then it was popped back into the heat to do something!
