Is this Whitefriars
« on: June 12, 2014, 07:17:57 AM »
Hi every body. I bought this at a local flea market. The seller told me that it belonged to his grandmother. She told him it was Whitefriars and she bought it in the 60s. I have checked all the on-line catalogues but cannot find it. It stands approx. 11 ins high, very heavy and has a flat polished pontil. Can any body help. Many thanks, Patrick

It was not made at Whitefriars but I don't know where it was made, perhaps on Murano but good quality glass has been made in many countries.
