Lot 377 at Watsons?
« on: November 27, 2014, 04:49:01 PM »
What am I missing for it to sell at £2900?  I can see the clichy, but is it the fish and other white outside cane weight which are the money, or something else?

thanks
Ian

Probably the likely Bacchus in the middle of the back row. :)

Hi. Those Murano fish sometimes have ludicrously high asking prices in antique shops, but I have yet to sell any of mine for more than peanuts!  The money in the lot is indeed the Bacchus in the back row. I'll post some images in due course.

Hi Don.  I do  not yet know - I need to see it in the flesh and compare it to the ones we have.
