Hello i have just purchased this huge 1950's glass vase
when buying in my head i though "that looks like a Dino Martens piece." however i cannot find reference to this particular shape and also there is no gold fleck which usually is on these type of vases. the feel of the glass and the quality is the same as Dino Martens pieces i have owned in the past.

if anyone could help ID this that would be so helpful
thank you for reading

PS sorry about the photos quality i used my phone camera.
Kind regards Steven

hi - wish you luck with your request for attribution  -  regret Dino Martens is something I see only as pix in the books ;D

As a suggestion, and rather than trying to locate a drinks bottle or similar - with which to indicate size - you might simply tell us that it's so many mm. or cms. tall  -  not everyone will be familiar with the size of your particular brand of drinks bottle :)

your pix look to be good quality by the way.

I would go for modern and Chinese because it's large, top heavy, the stripes aren't too regular and they are the same colours as the Chinese birds and penguins breeding in many so-called antique centres

Thank you both for your input.
i must admit it is very thin and good quality glass, a lot better than any modern reproductions that i have seen in the antique centres. but i agree with the top heavy part this does not really capture the style of 1950's Italian design for me.
