Hello I am new to this.
I bought this mini decanter recently. It is approx 10 inches tall and looks a lot like a mini version of the huge Empoli ones (I have one ).It has the 2 labels shown in the photos. I am sure it is modern but I am intrigued where in Italy it came from and who made it as I can find nothing about the label anywhere. It appears to comprise the silver initials IAD or DAI and a silver heart within a silver edged dull gold round ish label. The second silver label proclaims the item is "HAND BLOWN HAND DECORATED WITH 18 KR GOLD MADE IN ITALY". The "KR" seems a bit off to me?
It is a very pretty item so I am happy with it anyway but am intrigued and wondered if it is really Italian or possibly something completely different/faked up-it is actually nice quality though and displays nicely.

Hello and welcome. I strongly suspect your KR is just Italian for CR, carat, for the quality of the gold used for the gilding. So it's real and good quality gold on it.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)
