Just arrived 12 inches tall, original labels and marked to the base, I'm thinking an American theme maybe ? ::) ;D ;D

Seems a reasonable assumption Keith, that would date it to circa 1976. Anything on those labels?

It harks back to much earlier work they did that I don't think was particularly with an American link.

I'm not sure the red white and blue definitively denotes an American link on this either ... although it may do in conjunction with the star engravings of course.
Do you know when the label was used?  was it fairly recent, say last 50 years e.g.?

The fact it has a bar code means at the latest it would be is early 1970s, 1972 in the States, 1974 here if my research is correct, I don't have any info' on dating the labels, something I must look into, the mark to the base is like pieces I have that date from the 30s to the 80s, so no help there. I did contact David Williams-Thomas but he couldn't remember seeing anything similar, must track down someone who worked there  ::) ;D ;D

Have finally been able to put a date to this after seeing a similar piece, completely wrong about the American connection it was made for the new millennium, so a date of 1999 I presume  ::) ;D ;D
