Murano vase ???
« on: June 13, 2022, 09:54:15 PM »
I recently inherited this vase from my mother and would like some help on identifying it please as I believe it could be Murano.I contacted one dealer who said it was probably a cheap Chinese copy as the pontil on a Murano would be polished smooth which it is !! Another dealer told me it was probably a 19th century vase probably made in Stourbridge, please could anyone help clear this up?

I'd go with the second opinion. Try searching "jack in the pulpit" vase.
