Really difficult sometimes with glass especially decanters as there were so many designs and shapes made over a very
long period of time, The stopper shape looks similar to the type used on British decanters from the 1840-60 period on Bludgeon types
in the Gothic taste as is the long cutting to the body that goes down in wide flat cuts. The shape though reminds me of French cut decanters
from Baccarat and some others hard without handling and feeling the weight? Is it very heavy at all? And does it have much wear on the bottom
pictures of the base always help too.
