Help needed.

Attached are pics of two completely different pieces that we'd love to know something about.

The first looks like a WF vase, but is so much bigger than any others we have seen.  The blue colour and the thickness of the glass looks right for something around pattern no 9647 or 9518 however it's 9.5" tall, the casing has a bit of a more yellowey colour than you'd expect and the base is totally polished flat which doesn't stack up. There is definite age to the base.

The second is a glass platter about 15.5" square and is hand painted on the base so you can see it through on the top. The base is then felted and there's gold stamp on the base from (we presume) the retailer in Italy which says "unico esemplare carlo pascal". It's a real 1950's looking piece signed "Sagal"

"unique example by Carlo Pascal" for the translation. Sagal were/are an Italian design company, not sure if they are still operative.
Being a Czech specialist, cannot help further.

PS. Thanks for your recent eBay acknowledgements of sklounion.com Much appreciated.
