ID help request: vaseline/cranberry/controlled bubble weight
« on: April 21, 2005, 01:04:36 PM »
Hello
I have been trying to ID this paperweight.  It is 3" tall, 1 3/4" in diameter. The outside is clear glass.  It has an inner layer of vaseline/uranium glass, with a spiral of red glass and controlled bubble pattern.  I cannot really tell by looking at it if the vaseline glass is a thin internal layer surrounding a clear core, or if it is a solid core of vaseline.  Photo on right was taken in daylight with the addition of a UV Blacklight.
Any help is always appreciated.

While delving into posts from 2005, I found this and thought a "bump" might be useful.
