hi - am new to this and am trying to write a message with photo of glass bowl to see if anyone knows what type of glass it is but i cant see where to do this as it keeps saying i cant send personal messages??? any ideas????

Hi and welcome to the board. The PM system is not enabled for members on the board.  To ask for info about a glass item you need to create a new topic and add some pics so we know what you're talking about, and then someone will most likely be able to help. 

For unidentified glass use this forum (i.e. GLASS), and when you are in the topic listing screen of GLASS you'll see some blue tab links top right of the topic list - the third of them says NEW TOPIC. Click that and then write your message and click POST when you're done.  If you get stuck and need help just reply to this message and one of the Mod team will come and help you out.  8)
