three stoppered milk blue bottles
« on: November 25, 2007, 03:07:43 PM »
Hie
And here's the latest set of stuff. You can tell that beyond eyebaths my glass expertise is zero!

A set of three milk-blue (light blue/light turquoise) stoppered jars.  Tallest is approx 170mm tall inc stopper.
What might they have been intended for originally and how old might they be? Is there anything special about them?

Thanks for any info.
Cheers
Andrew
(PS. Again - just trying to find out info at this point, but I will be selling in due course if anyone is interested)

We like to see base pictures and stopper details as well please. They look like cosmetic type bottles

Base pics and stopper pics will follow in due course - don't hold your breath though as daylight is always preferable for glass pics and I won't see much until next weekend (not while at home, anyway) but I'll see what can be done.
