Bimini Art Deco Lamps?
« on: April 29, 2008, 01:58:01 AM »
I recently acquired some art deco lamps and was told that they were rare French Bimini lamps from the 1920's-1930's.  I was wondering if anyone could verify this information for me (pics attached) or provide me with some information about them.  They are hand painted, glazed, and approximately 4 1/2" high by 5" wide.  Any information would be appreciated.

Not heard of a 'French' Bimini before. Bimini were mostly lampwork and these look a bit thick for that.

Absolutely gorgeous though!!!!!!!!!

Any words/letters on the fittings?

Sorry, there are no identification marks on them.

Can't tell from the images, but these look as if they are ceramic and not glass, in which case you might try http://pottery.yobunny.com/

Adam, i agree, looking closely, they do look ceramic! (especially the hole where the wire enters)
Arisellon,
what do you think, are you sure they are glass??
It is sometimes tricky to tell if you are not experienced ;)

They are still great lamps though!
