Whitefriars 9571 Teardrop Vase in.... um... Green?
« on: July 29, 2008, 05:33:41 PM »
I've been exposing myself (!) to Whitefriars colours I've not seen before these last couple of week, and I'm a little stumped with this one. The best-fit in the catalogues would appear to be 'Green', although it's a very turquoise-ish colour.... but not quite blue enough to be Kingfisher.

So is my best-guess anywhere close?  ;D

PS: Excuse the muck - I managed to break my larger bottle brush, and it's yet to be replaced.

It's a little darker and greener than the photos of Aqua that I've seen.

Hello Steve - it's neither of the two colours you suggested, Shadow Green being very dark - almost grey, and Meadow Green being very bright and grassy n colour.

It seems that Green cased in Clear (1964 catalogue only) is the most likely for my vase, and your two.

Nic

Do you think both as one seems a bit green and the other a sort of bluey colour?

Oh, yes. I hadn't noticed the colour difference. In which case, I'm really not sure about the greeny one. But the blue one looks very much to be Indigo.

Maybe the question would fare better on whitefriars.com?
