Topic: Orrefors Owl, signed and numbered

Hi everyone!
This piece is marked Orrefors L/285-111 Olle Alberius. 5 1/2" tall.  I found that it might of been made from 1971-1993 and I was just wondering if the number means it's not an original of Mr Alberius.  It sure is a gorgeous hunk of crystal!
I just went to our city wide garage sales and came home without any glass.

It was designed by Olle Alberius. The "U" signifies glass that was worked in the blowing room, and the numbers refer to Orrefors' system of identifying designs. So, yes, it is original, but Olle didn't blow it.
