Sorry John...but what does 'colour coated latimo' mean?  I've never heard that expression before.

Yes,your bottle is Carlo Moretti in Satinato from 1959. I am looking at my red 13" satin bottle
with a clear satin stopper from my desk right now. With the stopper on,it stands about 23". I have seen these in red, green, blue, dark blue. I'll post a picture next week, when I have some more time........Jerry from Wisconsin

I checked the decanter in the link in the 4th message of this thread. The decanter was listed as Blenko, but I see the listing has been updated. The decanter has the stopper. So my vase is probably just an incomplete decanter. It can be difficult to find the right orphaned stoppers, so I guess the glass will have to be resigned to being a vase.

Hi all.......Carlo Moretti had 3 series in this type of glass that I know of. Bicolore from 1959 (white on the outside and color on the inside), Satinato from 1959 (single color and or clear), and Bicolore Satinato from 1966 (color on the outside and white on inside). I am not sure how long these series ran! I think most of mine have the gold label and I know I have one with an odd label. I'll look on mon or tues.........Jerry

Hi all................Took some pictures today and as you can see, I'm still learning! Only some Satinato glass, cause time is short for me today! I have some Bicolore Satinato, but the few peices Bicolore that I had were broken many years ago.............................Jerry

You're a gem, Jerry. I spent a while this morning looking for a stopper. Satinato ones are definitely hard to come by! Maybe one day...
