Red Glass (baggage) Vase ?
« on: October 07, 2008, 06:52:21 AM »
Hi I just bought this, and was wondering if it is anything, or nothing.  I thought it was cute since it looks like a little baggage bag.  If nothing, I still like the color and design. :)
TIA

The term for such things (in china or glass or whatever) is Dorothy bag, I think. It looks modern, what's the base like?

Thanks Lustrousstone, never knew the proper name....Dorothy Bag.  Thanks.

I believe here is a very good chance its Pilgrim as they made numerous Cranberry vases with the cord around the neck & their Cranberry has a violet shading in the red. Ken
