I also thiink Murano. A comparison to current day Effetre canes would be flawed if the item is 50 years old. We need to compare to Murano canes that are 50 years old. And in that regard I agree with everyone that it was made with Murano canes. In my expersience Murano cane designs have migrated very slowly, but many times that migration (ie change in designs) can be precipitated by world wars and the like where iron moulds would have been used for the war efforts. At any rate, if you had asked me the time frame of these canes I would have said second quarter 20th century based on the construction style. That certainly fits with the 50 years old assertion. And since everyone seemd to be saying Murano canes, except for the owner, I think we need to hear from the owner as to why she believes they are not Murano canes.
