What do you think of this?
« on: March 26, 2009, 07:38:47 PM »
I got this pitcher a few months ago from a charity shop by chance.  I did some research and I think it is by Kaj Franck from the Sargasso series but cannot be wholly sure, mainly because I have never seen one in this shape and colour.  None of the documentation I consulted have any similar pictures.  The colours I've seen are green, clear or brown goblets (of various sizes) and deep bowl with a handle (like a glass basket).

It is about 26,5 cm tall and it takes approximately 3 litres!  Colour is light pink.  Bottom is engraved "Nuutajärvi Nötsjö".

Any opinions?

Interesting piece. It has the bubbles of the Sargasso series but seems lighter in colour than the others I've seen. I can't see the shape in Designlasin. Sorry can't help more.
