« on: April 03, 2009, 09:15:40 AM »
Hi.. Does anybody recognise this, it has France engraved on base and a name on side the of base that I cant work out. Its a huge piece measuring 445mm in height and weighs 5650g, I'm sure I have seen it somewhere maybe TV or book or maybe a magazine but I cant recall where. Any information greatfully received. Thanks Paul.

A photo of the name may be useful. Nice abstract looking sculpture, sorry I can not be of more help.

Schneider, circa1950s, probably designed by Robert Schneider.

Thanks Ivo and Anne for your information, I have tried to get an idea on value from ebay and the rest to no avail.
Its one of those items that don't crop up very often on auction sites probably due to weight.. does anyone know
how long these were produced for?

Hi everyone.. Apologies for bringing this up again but its driving me slowly insane, I'm sure I have seen this on one of the antique programs on the TV being described maybe in a auction room or antique fair somewhere. My first thought was that it was Mark Hill giving the info.. But it could have been Jonty Hearnden or Andy McConnell does anyone know or have I dreamt it. Thanks Paul.
