Hi
The shape is not one I recognise (i.e. not in the Monart catalogue) but the colourway looks like the Monart colour code 185 of blue and black/gold aventurne. A picture of the pontil would be a help in identifing the maker of the vase.

Colour 185 looks a possibility but this piece is a little OTT..........not convinced just yet!!

There are 'grecian' handles on a small frilled vase - shape Q, but I could find nothing in the Parkington or Turner sale catalogues....

Eek!! Looks like one for Frank  :D

At the risk of repeating myself a picture of the pontil would be a great help, as Monart and Vasart glass both have a very distinctive pontil mark and usually can be identified by the pontil mark.

Yes, Frank's still getting sorted - the biggest problem will be getting his phoneline connected out in the wilds of France I s'pose!
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Despite the wilderness, they are extremely efficient here... almost fully operational but not quite there yet.

Certainly, looks interesting. The top looks like it is very non Monart (ignoring handles) but will look forward to seeing more detail once you get hold of it.
