ID request. Is this a Czech vase?
« on: April 26, 2009, 07:53:53 PM »
Hello,

Does anyone recognise this vase please? It measures 20cm high and has 4 feet. There are raised ribs running vertically down the vase. 4 of these ribs have prunts on them. It is a pinky colour running into a greeny colour in the base of the vase. I have a feeling it might be Czech?  Also if anyone has an idea as to age would be appreciated.

Very many thanks
Janet.

It has a late Victorian style and I have seen at least two more of these in the UK, but it could be newer. Czech is probably as good a guess as any
