Topic: Murano or Holmgaard?

Attributions by the 20th Century Glass seller on eBay are often best ignored - he was the worst Holmegaard keyword spammer on there for a long  time, with many pieces of nasty-quality Chinese glass listed as HG. In fact, he still has most of it - now downgraded to just generic "Scandinavian glass".

But, generally, most of the glass on eBay listed as Holmegaard... isn't Holmegaard at all.

I suppose thats what people were saying on another link recently about if one seller sells something with the wrong attribution other people copy them as fact. It all gets a bit complicated doesn't it?  I was hoping it was HG but its not looking like it now. Trouble is someone might buy the one on Ebay thinking it is HG and its not. Its another case of knowing what you buy dispite the listing heading being wrong. My husband says it would be like selling a Honda motorcycle when really its a Kawasaki!! (hes a biker!!!)       I still love my dish!!        Cheryl

Hello, yes thats the same one I saw, hes not having much luck selling it!!!     Its the same as mine, its a lovely looking piece of glass, its so smooth to touch and the colour is beautiful.      Cheryl

Quite a notorious seller, check out there descriptions and titles on other adverts, they also have other accounts and keep changing names on them so quite confusing.
It looks like something ive seen before but i just cant place it at the moment, if i remember i will let you know

Hi,  The seller starts most listings with the words 'in my opinion'. I suppose he does that so he can then claim a piece is made by a better known maker than it actually is. Have to be very careful with listings like that.    Cheryl.
