Yup, mine's handmade too complete with polished pontil mark on the base. That's why I've made sure it keeps its label as without it you'd never suspect Taiwan!

thankyou for the replys ,it is 8 inches accross the top and 3 inches tall the base pattern appears different from the bowl with the taiwan label i had a good look earlier so im none the wiser. sorry the pictures look so small the base is very worn looking .

That base looks very Whitefriars to me. Try the catalogues here http://whitefriars.com/catalogues/ the colour you are looking for is Ruby = R
