Can anyone help identify this please?

I think it appeared sometime in the 60's but that doesn't mean it was bought new, although it's likely. 

The silver rim is marked with what looks to be an angular F joined to an H inside a circle and alongside it says hefra met.

It measures 10.5 inches across, the glass is thick, deeply cut in places and very finely cut in others. Hope the photo shows this.
