Hi there
picked this one up a couple of weekends back think it may be scandi, Rhiihimaki? but after searching through a few websites and books ive not been able to find the design?? anybody seen this one before or am i looking in all the wrong places (as per usual lol). Dark blue at the top which gets lighter as it goes down with a clear glass foot mould blown, has a raised pattern
21cms tall, 5.75cms in diameter, foot 4cms in diameter weighs 250g

hiya, me again.....
your vase was made by Gralglas in Dürnau / Göppingen, possibly
late 60's design. comes in rectangular, too.
also I've seen this round version with a metal collar to the base.
Gralglas had 'special' names for their colours. I think, your blue
one would be 'Elektron' then.

last not least, a possible designer's name: Konrad Habermeier.
couldn't find your vase in an exhibition catalogue I have, but the reference given
in this ebay-auction looks reliable:

For future reference, here's  an example with a silver collar. I've been looking
for ages to find one for an acceptable price. The silver hallmarks show, that the
collar was produced by 'Lutz und Weiss' in Pforzheim. Thanks to the seller, who
kept me from searching myself!
The vase is 26cm tall and 7cm in diameter.

I came across this thread while searching for something else, we now know after the Gral book came out that the design of this particular Gral glas vase, pattern nr. F231 from 1962/1963 is by Emil Funke.
