Optically, it's quite deceiving.  The outside is in fact smooth, without any feel of the pebbles/lenses  -  it's only by feeling the inside that you sense the raised pattern.
I like this kind of blue  -  is this what is known as 'electric blue'  -  it reminds me of the Davidson blue.    About 17cms. tall  -  about 12.5cms wide  -  and a good quality ground and polished pontil mark.    The base has some wear  -  cud be anything from 20  - 50 years in age  -  difficult to tell.    If anyone recognizes the pattern, wud be grateful to know.  thanks   Paul s.
