Topic: Help with historimus beaker

I thought this piece was moser. Gary Baldwin has about three similarly enameled pieces in his moser book. one with the same stylistic leaf design. But when I emailed Moser they said that all moser was clearly signed and that they never did an enamel work like this.

anyone have any ideas?

you can only barely read it as it is mostly faded. It looks like a K1365 (off the top of my head it may be another four numbers)

Which fit into my moser theory. I have another moser piece from the same era marked in gold like this at the base with a letter and four numbers and about an inch away in the same gold it says moser.

this is a pic of the whole base, it's hard to tell what you're looking at as it indents the same way a vase would

I'm not so good on such early Moser. But If I say this on a shelf my first thought would be Fritz Heckert and the numbering would just about suit them to.

Hmm, I am not super familiar with the early Heckert stuff. I've seen some, but not tons.  I know it's not always true that birds of a feather flock together when it comes to your glass finds, but I did get this (the one the cat is sniffing) Heckert piece off the same seller at the same time.. so maybe that's not a bad attribution..... (not that it would be if it hadn't been bought with another heckert piece, just that it adds one more brick to the stack)
