Jack Allan or Caithness Glass?
« on: October 02, 2009, 02:10:46 AM »
Any one think this inkwell is really Caithness Glass? The signature cane looks more like an upside down and rotated "CG" cane. And Jack Allan's signature cane is a "JA" and not a single "A".

I agree.
This is a "CG" signature cane and not "A". If it was an "A" it would be Alan Scott, but it is not.

Just wondering if that signature cane could be JD ??

... as in John Deacons?

I have very similar bottle, with similar design canes - particularly a number with hearts in.  No signature cane, but acid etched Caithness Romance
