« on: October 20, 2009, 08:20:18 PM »
Hi,

Our second "find"- small pink jug measuring 3" tall, 3.5" base diameter. Rough broken pontil.

Possibly Caithness or another modern chinese number?

Please help, am making a charity box up as I type......  :-[
TIA Sharron

Thanks Michelle,

you're quick off the mark! Maybe not the place to say, but I thought your facebook photos of the recent glass fayre were fab, really enjoyed browsing through them. Good of you to take the time and trouble .  Also noticed some of your Mdina collection again on facebook? we have recently acquired this one- And I know you are familiar with it.

Sharron x

Caithness wouldn't have a rough pontil and there's nothing wrong with Caithness anyway. And it doesn't look Chinese. Michelle could well be right about Alum Bay.

Was referring to possibly another chinese buy and not the quality of Caithness! Sadly not partial to pink.......answered in your consistent inimitable style, thankyou
