Clear pressed vase seeking an ID please.

Hello

This is 7½" tall, which is all I can say.  Hopefully you might say more.

Thanks in advance,
Stu.

It's an Inwald piece, shown as number 9066 in the 1926 (Markhbeinn) catalogue. Probably a Schrotter design (given the style and date). I named the Carnival version "Prague" a few years ago.

We show it in "Carnival Glass The Magic & The Mystery 2" and also here

I notice that mine has a slightly different top to the two on the link, but I am guessing it just means that it's variation.

Many thanks, Glen.

If you will look at the catalogue picture in Glen's link, the dotted lines indicate a post-mould variation.

<bangs forehead> Of course it is, Glen, thank you.  :kissy:

It was you who ID'd mine originally but I couldn't find either the earlier topic or my photos / notes of it. I remember being surprised as I always feel this is a little drab in clear glass - it looks much nicer in Carnival.

Hi Cathy

Yes, I had noticed that, and it didn't seem to match mine.  Not a biggy, however, as I am very happy with the ID.

 :) :) :)
