Odd shaped purple with clear foot piece
« on: January 26, 2010, 07:40:30 PM »
I acquired this piece of glass in a job lot and cannot make up my mind if this is an old piece or something relatively modern of the TKMax or Ikea variety. It stands 6 inches high and the purple glass is quite thick with the rim being rounded rather than flat with sharp edges. The clear glass stem has what can only be described as a spiral cut and the base is unremarkable with no obvious marks or T-cut, other than a couple of tiny bubbles. Sorry or no base photo yet as camera has just given up the ghost temporarily (I hope!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Ronnie
