Not Dartington - but what is it?
« on: January 30, 2010, 12:54:04 PM »
This is currently for sale as Dartington - I don't think it is - wrong colour and texture, although the shape is certainly similar. Does anyone have any ideas what it is? I thought perhaps a Pala vase , but they have square tops in all the photos I've found. If it is Dartington I'd be interested - hence the query   :)
any info appreciated

I'm assuming, by the nature of the query, that it is not your own photo that you've attached to your post?

Is it? Round neck instead of a rectangular one, wrong texture and unusual coulour?

Jak, no it's not allowed without the permission of the owner od the photograph. You either have to contact the owner and get permission, or link directly to the auction.

I wouldn't have thought Pala, but stand to be corrected. My Pala vases have thicker walls and a less even texture, but I don't know that much about them.
