I guessing this is Murano and has anyone came across one before?

The pattern and crimped attachments look very Chinese to me.

In truth most "Murano" baskets aren't Murano. I don't even know if there is such a thing. Many of them are Czech and early to mid 20th century. I would agree with Anita on this one though
