Murano? Triple cased vase
« on: April 29, 2010, 05:31:01 PM »
Red with green "splashes". Inner white casing and outer clear casing. Any help appreciated. p.s the base is 'doughnut' shaped (if that makes sense) with a well 1" deep, 1" across. Stands 6" high.

Cheers

looks like a very heavy affair, a simple shape made on the blowpipe and cut off - so no pontil used and the rim cold finished. That is the Polish school of glass making, not Murano.
