Help identify please :) real head scratcher
« on: May 03, 2010, 08:19:58 PM »
Hey guys and gals hope all are well. I bought this from a antique centre as i think it is stunning but i'm not sure who its by. Its got a polished pontal on the base, which is perfectly spherical. Hope someone has an idea as i would love to know a bit about it. Thank you :) Chris

Thank you for looking. It does look very similar indeed to the orrefors piece pictured. Seems that's what it's looking like. Thank you again :)

Except the coloured part in the Orrefors vase has a rounded base and yours almost has corners, and the top corners of the Orrefors vase kick out and yours curve in...
